Remember when you were young and when something didn’t go your way in a game, you could ask for a do-over? That’s how we look at exit exchanges – programs that give you credit when people leave your site.
STOP! Don’t get carried away and sign up for exchanges that give you revenue instead of traffic. You need to make sure your machine is adequately tuned to drive traffic continually. Only once this is achieved should you ADD (i.e. don’t replace) revenue options.
Just like a banner exchange program, exit exchanges give you credit based on some exchange rate. Try to pick one that is favorable. Put their code on EACH of your pages to get the maximum benefit.
Below are some good exit exchanges – we like ones that let you target where your site will appear. After you have had a chance to register for these programs and install their code on your pages, come back and continue on to the next lesson.
